Bedford Mountaineering Club is a group of about 40 mountain enthusiasts based in and around Bedfordshire. We cater for both climbers and mountain walkers of all abilities and new joiners are welcome. We have an informal and inclusive atmosphere.
The Club’s main activities are centred around a programme of monthly, weekend hut meets, most of which are to North Wales, the Lake District or Peak District. Our members have been on recent trips to Scotland and the Alps as well with similar trips being planned.
We also have social meets in Bedford and our climbers regularly visit one of the indoor climbing walls in Milton Keynes.
